9. Lucy Lockwood 10,11,12 was born on 15 Jul 1797 in Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk13 and died about Dec 1864 in Islington, London14 aged about 67.

General Notes: 1. There were two John and Hannah Lockwoods in Bury St. Edmunds around 1800. The other Hannah was Hannah Steed/Stead. She married a John Lockwood on 13th February 1781 in St. Mary, Bury St. Edmunds and her children were baptised at St. Mary with Steed/Stead listed for 6 of the 7 baptisms between 1782 and 1809. This Hannah was buried in St. Mary on 14th December 1834.

The baptism of Lucy does not have the mother's maiden name. The reasons I believe she is the daughter of Hannah Buttram and not Hannah Steed/Stead are as follows:-
(a) Lucy was baptised at St. James. Her mother Hannah was buried at St. James
(b) All of Hannah Steed's children were baptised at St. Mary and always had the Steed/Stead name included. Hannah was buried in St. Marys
2. Some trees at ancestry.com have the death of Lucy in March 1875 at St. Pancras age 75. This is a different Lucy Barwick that was born in Newport Pagnell, Buckinghamshire according to the 1871 census.
Some trees have her death as 23rd November 1864 in Islington.
